(The Sandbox) Metaverse platform Sandbox has collaborated with Elvis Presley to take him to the metaverse.
The partnership will encompass Elvis Presley Enterprises and Web3 studio, Run it Wild.
The other partners in the project, in addition to Sandbox, are Decentraland, Metakey, Dappraft, and Voxel Architects.
To celebrate Elvis Presley’s birthday, about 1,935 Elvis Genesis Key NFTs will be minted as an all-access pass to the metaverse, which is set to launch on June 1.
The Sandbox will create Elvis’s avatars with Voxel Architects, which will be used in the new Elvis virtual world. Users will have a chance to become “The King” in different formats in the virtual world, where they can interact with others and transact digital memorabilia.
Sébastien Borget, the co-founder of The Sandbox, commented, saying that they want to empower the fans to express themselves. An Elvis Block Party is expected to be hosted on the Decentraland after the NFT mint.
