(The Block) Amber Group has announced that it will launch the Openverse, which is a Web3 enablement platform and a gateway to the metaverse.
The company says the Openverse will catapult businesses, brands, and creators into Web3.
Amber says the metaverse economy will hit $13 trillion by 2030, which makes the Openverse critical. The company describes Openverse as a one-stop platform for transitioning into Web3.
The group says the Openverse will offer multiple entry points into the metaverse through an end-to-end creative and digital infrastructure. The company says the Openverse will be at the forefront of onboarding brands and communities into the metaverse.
Amber CEO Jo Xu says the company is lining up partnerships with sporting brands, digital artists, creators, and gaming studies to exploit new possibilities of the metaverse through the Openverse. Xu says he is optimistic the launch will enable more users to enter the metaverse.
