Euro Area Posts a Higher 4.1% Jump in Inflation in October

(Eurostat) Annual inflation in the euro area was 4.1% in October, the highest since 2008, beating, and beating17.6% increase in September.

Services led to a 2.1% increase in inflation compared to 1.7% in September.

Non-energy industrial goods saw a 2.0% increase in inflation, a lower jump compared to 2.1% the previous month. Food, alcohol, and tobacco held steady at a 2.0% increase.

DAX is down -0.86%, EURUSD is down -0.21%.
