(Blockchain.com) The total volume of cryptocurrencies transacted on Blockchain.com topped $1 trillion in a growing embrace of digital assets.
Blockchain.com attributes the growth in transactions to retail trading, with the platform now boasting at least 76 million active wallets.
Blochain.com has also seen a growth in institutional market business, with more asset managers booking new asset classes for their clients.
There has also been a growth in brokerage and exchange businesses, alongside robust consumer demand for digital assets in the last six months.
The volume of crypto transactions means that Blockchain.com has handled almost a third of bitcoin network transactions since 2012. The majority of transactions on Blockchain.com Wallets have occurred in the last two years.
