Xpeng’s Deliveries in Q4 2021 Jumps 222%, Revenues Rise More Than 200%

(Xpeng) Xpeng announced a total of 41,751 vehicle deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2021, an increase of 222% from the year.

Xpeng said that its total revenues in the quarter hit RMB8.556 billion, an increase of 200.1% from the previous year.

The gross margin for the electric vehicle maker was 12.0% in the quarter, representing a year-over-year gain of 4.6%.

XPeng widened its net loss in the fourth quarter to RMB1.287 billion or US$202.0 million, compared to a loss of RMB787.4 million in the prior year. The loss was narrower compared to RMB1.595 billion in the third quarter of 2021.

Following the robust quarter sales, Xpeng said that its total deliveries for the year reached 98,155, up 263% from the prior year. The full-year revenues hit RMB20.988 billion, while the gross margin rose by 7.9% to 12.5% in 2021.
