Volkswagen’s worldwide group sales for March rose 53% year on year to 955,500 vehicles, according to MarketScreener. For the first quarter of the year, worldwide deliveries jumped 21% year on year at 2,431,900.
In China, Volkswagen’s vehicle deliveries rose to 345,000 in March, up from 209,600 a year ago
The March sales were a jump from the same month last year when global deliveries dropped sharply amid the spread of the coronavirus.
