(Unity Software) Unity Software Inc. registered a revenue of $315.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, up 43% from the prior year.
The company’s Create Solutions segment posted therevenue of $99.9 million in the fourth quarter, up 49% from the prior year. Operate Solutions reached a revenue of $194.6 million, up 45% year over year.
Unity widened its loss from operations to $144.8 million, from $80.8 million in the prior year. GAAP basic and diluted net loss per share hit $0.56, compared to $0.31 loss per share in the prior year.
For FY21, the company’s revenue rose by 44% year-over-year to $1.1 billion. GAAP operating loss was $531.7 million, higher than a loss of $274.8 million in the prior year.
Unity now projects revenue of $315 million to $320 million in the first quarter of 2022 and revenue of $1.485 billion to $1.505 billion in FY22.
The company expects a non-GAAP loss from operations of $22 million to $23 million in the first quarter of 2022. Loss in FY22 is expected in the range of $39 million to $41 million.
