(Dailyhodl) Third-ranked Ethereum whale named Light has spent over $128 million in a spreading spree that includes Decentraland’s token MANA and Sandbox’s SAND.
The whale acquired 642,999 tokens of Decentraland’s MANA for $1,845,409 and an initial 426,000 tokens of SAND for $2,044,800. The whale added another 1,703,978 SAND tokens for $8,179,094.
Away from the metaverse tokens, the whale made a whopping $86.4 million purchase of 2,000 tokens of Wrapped Bitcoin. Another $25,170,000 was spent on a million tokens of Chainlink’s LINK.
The whale bought 3,090,000 tokens of Covalent CQT for $2,039,319 and added 399,999 tokens of layer-2 Ethereum scaling Solution OMG Foundation for $2.45 million.
The latest purchase is a continuation of a crypto spending spree by Light, with the whale buying over $1.1 million worth of tokens of play-to-earn blockchain Gala.
Following the spending spree, the Light wallet now controls over $4.3 billion worth of crypto.
