(DataNews) Seety, a Belgium digital parking startup, started on Thursday allowing its customers to pay parking fees in Antwerp and Brussels using crypto tokens.
Seety allows up to seven cryptocurrency payments, which include Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, USD Coin, and Dai.
Seety customers are required to buy the company’s credits through its app to take advantage of the crypto payment option.
Shop.com has also started allowing its customers to make purchases with different cryptocurrencies. Worldline is also the latest entrant.
Seety has been a supporter of cryptocurrencies and expects a global uptake of Bitcoins and altcoins. The company expects the environmental concern of crypto assets to be addressed in the future.
Seety has at least 350,000 active users and projects a revenue of 400,000 euros in 2021.
