Pips Alert Review

Pips Alert Review

Pips Alert provides trading signals during London and NYC sessions and claims to bag in over 4500 pips each month. The company lists out multiple portfolios from different traders that investors can follow. There is a trading course on the website to educate beginner traders. We will take a peek at the various offerings from the company to see if they are profitable enough to follow.

Pips Alert trading strategy

The developers are not transparent about their strategy. They state that they use a long-term approach and send 2-7 signals each day on multiple currency pairs. Traders can follow the positions with any account value.

They list out two trading models that traders can choose from on the website. The respective details are as follows:

  • Investor X. It offers 15-20 trades each with a monthly target of around 3.5k pips.
  • Venture X. These signals work with a long-term approach and are one of the best performances from their side. There are 15-20 trades per week with a monthly target of 3k pips.

From the image on the website, we can see that they are trading with high risk-reward and move their stop loss to entry when a trade runs into profit.

Pips Alert backtesting results

The company does not provide backtesting records for its signal service. Without any historical records, we cannot know if their strategy will work for an extended time in the future.

Pips Alert live trading results

The company does not provide any live records that we could use to analyze their performance. This is a poor approach by the signal providers that raises many questions on the service.

Live records on Myfxbook or FXBlue are a sure way to know if a signal service or EA is profitable or not.

Pips Alert reputation

Traders on Forex Peace Army rate the service with 4.145. There are a total of 15 reviews where one of the traders says that they are useless and not profitable. He states that he lost 10% on the account within one week.

Another trader says that the way the company trades introduces a big risk on an account. They also use hedging strategies against one another. The signal providers are trading during news releases and provide more trades during the period, which adds to the losses. The pip count on their website is not accurate, and they are deluding customers with good performance.
