(Reuters) Pfizer has raised its forecasts of sales of joint vaccines with BioNTech by 28.8% to $35.5 billion.
The upgraded Covid-19 vaccine sales reflects signed deals of 2.1 billion doses this year.
In May, Pfizer projected $26 billion vaccine sales based on signed deals amounting to 1.6 billion doses.
Pfizer has projected to produce as much as 3 billion doses this year. Both Pfizer and BioNTech share profits and expenses of vaccines equally.
PFE: NYSE is down -0.64% on premarket, BNTX: NASDAQ is up +1.58% on premarket.
