Pfizer and Moderna to Charge More for Covid-19 Vaccines in the EU

(Financial Times) Vaccine makers Pfizer Inc. and Moderna Inc. have raised their Covid-19 vaccine prices days after signing new supply contracts in the European Union.

Pfizer’s short will now sell at $19.50 euros or $23.15, up from the previous 15.50 euros.

Moderna’s vaccine will sell at $25.50 a dose, up from about 19 euros, but below the previously agreed price of $28.50.

The vaccine price increase happens less than a week after the European Commission said it is on course to fully vaccinate more than 70% of its population by the end of summer.

MRNA: NASDAQ is up +0.89%, PFE: NYSE is up +1.92%.
