Palantir Widens Net Loss to $156 Million in Q4 2021, but Revenue Jumps 34%

(Palantir) Palantir reported a net loss of $156.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, an increase from a loss of $140.3 million in the prior year.

The company’s net loss for FY21 was $520.4 million, narrowing from a net loss of $1.166 billion in the prior year. 

In the fourth quarter, revenue was reported at $432.87 million, up 34% year-over-year. Government revenue increased by 26% from the prior year, while commercial revenue was up 47% in the quarter.

FY21 revenue was reported at $1.54 billion, an increase from $1.093 billion in the previous year.

Nvidia now projects revenue of $443 million in the first quarter of 2022, with an adjusted operating margin of 23%. For FY21, the operating margin is expected at 27%.

The company also projects growth of above 30% in revenues through 2025.
