Nvidia Revenue Hits a Record After a 50% Jump in Q3 2022. Upgrades Guidance

(Nvidia) Nvidia revenue in the third quarter of 2022 was $7.10 billion, a record and a 50% jump from the prior year.

Data Center revenue reached a record $2.94 billion, an increase of 55% from the prior year. Gaming revenue came at an all-time high of $3.22 billion, up 42% in the same period.

The company’s net income was $2.464 billion, up 84% from the prior year. Diluted earnings per share was $0.97, an increase of 83% from the prior year.

Nvidia announced a quarterly cash dividend amounting to $100 million at $0.04 per share, payable on December 23, 2021 and on record on December 2, 2021.

Gross margin in the third quarter was 65.2%, an increase of 260 basis points from the prior year.

The company now expects a revenue of $7.40 billion in the fourth quarter, with GAAP gross margins expected at around 65.3%.
