(Electrek) Chinese carmaker Nio is gearing to expand into the United States, based on job postings on professional network platform LinkedIn.
Nio Vice President for Business and Corporate Development Saurabh Bhatnagar posted a total of 46 new job positions for San Jose alone, along with one located in Seattle, Washington.
Among the top positions the carmaker is looking to fill are Head of Power Strategy, Head of Architecture and Design, and Head of User Infrastructure Construction and Readiness.
The company earlier unveiled plans to expand to 25 countries and regions, including Denmark and Sweden. It has also hinted at expansion plans in Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Nio also scored approval for the mass production of its ES8 SUV for European markets, in line with its global expansion plans.
