(NIO Inc) NIO announced that it delivered 7,024 vehicles in May 2022, consisting of 746 ES8s, 2,936 ES6s and 1,635 EC6s, and 1,707 ET7s.
Year-to-date, NIO said it delivered 37,866 vehicles, an increase of 11.8% compared to the similar period of 2021. NIO hit cumulative deliveries of 204,936 as of May 31.
The electric vehicle maker said that its vehicle production had been gradually recovering from the Covid-19 outbreaks in certain regions of China.
NIO said it plans to boost its production capacity by working with supply chain partners and accelerating the delivery recovery from June in line with the Covid-19 situation and the order flow.
NIO: NYSE is up +1.55% in premarket.
