(FactSet) FactSet announced a revenue of $411.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, up 7.4% or $28.3 million from the same period last year.
Annual Subscription Value and professional services rose to $1.7 billion in the fourth quarter, up from $1.6 billion in the comparable quarter of 2020.
Diluted earnings per share rose 14.8% to $2.63, up from $2.29 in the comparable quarter of 2020. Net income was $101.062 million, up 13.5% from the comparable quarter of 2020.
For FY21, revenues rose by 6.5% to $1.59 billion, up 6.3% on an organic basis from FY20. FY21 net income rose by 7.1% to $399.59 million from FY20.
Client count increased by 9.8% or 578 in FY21. Users grew by 14.0% or 19,796 from FY20.
FactSet paid a $30.8 million, or $0.82 per share dividend that was paid on September 16, on record August 21, 2021. $382.6 million was returned to shareholders in the form of dividends and share repurchases in FY21.
The company now projects a GAAP revenue of between $1.705 billion to $1.720 billion in FY22. GAAP diluted EPS is expected in the range of $11.60 and $11.90.
