Euro Hedge Review

Euro Hedge Review

Euro Hedge is a Forex expert advisor that works on the MT4  and MT5 trading platforms. Launched on 29th March 2021, this robot trades in multiple currency pairs and uses eight different trading strategies. The vendor claims that the robot can deal with different types of markets like trending, spike, ranging, and sideways.

The current price of this Forex EA is $499, which is not exactly cheap compared to other systems available on the market. If you don’t wish to pay the large one-time fee, you can rent the EA for a monthly charge of $50. There is a free demo version you can download for testing purposes. However, there is no money-back guarantee.

Euro Hedge trading strategy

This robot uses eight strategies, namely Hedging, Averaging, Pyramiding, Martingale Lot, Anti Martingale Lot, Pending Order, close partial by money and percentage, and trailing by money and percentage. For hedging, the bot continuously opens long and short positions. While using the averaging strategy, it will open a position only if the initial position is lost.

The Pyramiding strategy involves the opening of a new position if the initial position is profitable. A larger-sized position is opened by the robot after the loss of the initial position when it is using the Martingale strategy. Conversely, while using Anti Martingale, it will open such a position if the initial order is profitable. The goal of the pending order strategy is to hasten recovery. For this, the robot initiates a pending order position when it reaches the minimum target open position.

You have the option of choosing either trailing by money or by percentage. It is also possible to run both simultaneously. Similarly, you can run close partially by money and by percentage at the same time or individually. This EA aims to get in and out of the market as swiftly as possible to avoid unexpected market shifts.

Euro Hedge features

Euro Hedge works on pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and XAU/USD. For best results, you need a VPS with a decent internet connection. It has a drawdown reduction feature where you can partially close orders after reaching a certain profit level. You can also use time control to restrict the days on which the robot trades. It is possible to set the start and end times for the trades and manage the maximum spread and grid settings.

Euro Hedge backtesting results

EA vendors normally test their systems using historical data. These tests, known as backtests, are conducted with several years’ worth of market data. Unfortunately, the vendor has not shared the backtesting results for this EA. Thus, we cannot determine whether it can deal with different market conditions over a long time period.
