(Twitter) Dogecoin rose up to 33% on Tuesday, boosted by a Tweet by Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk who says the electric vehicle maker will allow it for payments on some products.
Musk’s tweet happens following Dogecoin losses sustained in a bearish crypto market, with the news boosting the token to a high of around $0.20 from the lows of slightly above $0.15.
The Tesla CEO has been a fan of Dogecoin, with his previous posts also boosting the meme token to higher levels.
Musk’s tweet adds renewed optimism to Dogecoin, with the Tesla CEO having not posted about the meme token for a while.
