(Coinbase blog) Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has revealed plans to launch a crypto app store that provides third-party apps created by outside software manufacturers.
The crypto app store aims to enable Coinbase users to access any app created on distributed crypto digital infrastructure.
Crypto exchange users will be allowed to access third-party-built apps through integrating the identities of customers and their wallets.
Armstrong did not confirm when the planned crypto app store would be launched.
Armstrong suggested that the idea for launching a crypto app store was inspired by the approach of Apple to create developers’ app bionetwork.
Decentralized apps do not operate on integrated infrastructure but run on a blockchain and obtain processing resources from many computers across the world.
