(AT&T) AT&T Inc. reported a net income of $5.9 billion in the third quarter of 2021, an increase compared to $2.8 billion in the same period of last year.

The telecommunication company increased the diluted earnings per common share in the third quarter to $0.82 from $0.39 in the same quarter of 2020.
