(Twitter) Cinema giant AMC Entertainment has started accepting Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ether, and Litecoin as payment options for ticket purchases.
CEO Adam Aron says Dogecoin would be the next to be added by AMC. The cinema giant also said it would add Shiba Inu as a payment option.
The announcement comes weeks after the movie theatre said it plans to add major altcoins, in addition to Bitcoin as payment options in mid-September.
AMC initially allowed customers to buy electronic gift cards using various crypto assets that included Dogecoin.
AMC also supports Google Pay, ApplePay, and PayPal, with the CEO saying that they account for about 14% of its total online transactions.
