Alibaba Sees a 34% Year Over Year Jump in Revenue in June Quarter

Alibaba Group Holdings delivered revenue of RMB205,740 million or $31,865 million in the quarter that ended June, up 34% from the comparable quarter of 2020.

Alibaba’s revenues were fueled by strengths in its cloud computing and e-commerce businesses.

Non-GAAP net income was RMB43,441 million or $6,728 million, up 10% year over year, with non-GAAP EPS of RMB2.08 or $0.32, up 12% YoY. 

Alibaba’s active customers for the year that ended June 30, 2021, reached about 1.18 billion, up by 45 billion from the year that ended March 31, 2021.

The company increased its share repurchase program to a record of between $10 billion to $15 billion and repurchased.
