Affirm Enters Into Losses of $128.2 Million in Q4 Despite a Jump in Revenue

(Affirm) Affirm Holdings Inc.’s earnings dropped to a net loss of $128.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, from a net profit of $34.8 million in the same period last year.

The company increased its losses to $430.9 million in the full-year results from a loss of $112.9 million in 2020.

The revenue in the last quarter increased to $261.8 million, from $153.3 million reported in the same period last year. 

The company closed the year with a revenue of $870.5 million, an increase compared to $509.5 million net revenue reported at the end of last year.

Affirm expects between $240-250 million net revenue for the first quarter of 2022, and between $12.45 and $12.75 billion in next year’s full-year revenue.

The company is forecasting an operating loss of between $68-63 million in the first quarter of next year and an operating loss of between $145 to $135 million in the full-year results.
