Zoom Revenue Jumps 21% in Q4 2022, Issues Guidance

(Zoom) Zoom Video Communications posted total revenue of $1.0714 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, an increase of 21% from the prior year.

For FY22, the revenue was reported at $4.01 billion, up 55% from the previous year.

Zoom reported that its fourth-quarter GAAP income from operations fell by 2% from the previous year to $215.8 million. Q4 2022 non-GAAP operating income was $420.3 million, up 16% from the prior year. The FY22 GAAP income from operations was up 61% to $1.064 billion. 

The company said that at the end of the fourth quarter, it had about 2,725 customers, contributing at least $100,000 in trailing 12 months revenue, an increase of 66% from the previous year. 

Zoom now projects revenue of $1.070 billion to $1.075 billion in the first quarter of 2023.  Non-GAAP income from operations is expected to range between $345 million to $350 million.

For FY23, the company projects revenue of between $4.53 billion and $4.55 billion. Non-GAAP operating income is expected at between $1.430 billion and $1.450 billion.
