(Twitter) Yuga Labs has announced that it has eradicated the ability to mint limitless Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs.

The moves happen amid concerns of an infinite number of Bored Apes flooding the market, which increases a potential hack vulnerability.
The action happened about a year after Yuga Labs promised to do so. The issue, raised in early June 2021, pointed out that the code on the Ethereum blockchain allowed Yuga Labs to mint as many Bored Apes as they wanted.
The revoked code is a reprieve to Bored Ape holders who have faced phishing attacks recently. The latest hack on the Discord server led to the loss of 200ETH NFTs worth around $357,00.
APEUSD is down -0.73%.
