(Bloomberg) Virgin Galactic extended its bullish run, jumping as much as 10% following a successful space flight of founder Richard Branson on Sunday.
Branson landed into the lower reaches of Space via VSS Unity to successfully satisfy a 17-year quest to promote space tourism.
The Galactic founder sees an opportunity in carrying about 2 million people into space at a cost of $250,000 to $500,000 range, generating around $1 trillion.
Branson’s space flight happens about one week before Amazon founder Jeff Bezos also takes a ride into space.
