VeChain Token Jumps on Multi-Year Partnership With Martial Arts UFC

(VeChain) VeChain native token VET rose more than 4% on Thursday on the news, and the network will be the first official blockchain partner for mixed martial arts entity UFC.

VeChain will acquire the rights for official UFC fighter rankings, giving visibility across live broadcasts and UFC’s online presence.

VeChain will also have a branded presence in UFC’s Octagon at 42 annual events and the 10-event Dana White Contender Series.

The partnership includes diverse integrations of VeChain into live events of UFC and original content of the martial arts organization’s social media and digital channels. The integrations will begin on June 11.

The partners will also collaborate on original content that will feature UFC athletes and talents, in addition to an annual Brand Ambassador fund. 

The deal is estimated at almost $100 million and runs for a minimum of five years. The blockchain described the partnership as the beginning of a multi-year relationship.
