(SEC Filing) VanEck will launch a Bitcoin-futures ETF on the Cboe BZX Exchange next week, after ProShares debuted a similar product on the New York Stock Exchange.
The VanEck’s Bitcoin Strategy ETF is set to start trading after October 23, with the launch expected to be on October 25.
The ETF fund will only invest in cash-settled BTC futures on exchanges under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
The ETF will trade under ticker “XBTF” and will become the second to debut in the US public markets after ProShares.
Alternative asset management entity Valkyrie is also eyeing a Bitcoin futures ETF soon.
