Uber CEO Boosts Stock After Purchasing 200K Shares

(SEC Filing) The shares of Uber Technologies Inc. jumped more than 5% on Tuesday after CEO Dara Khosrowshahi bought 200,000 shares at $45 apiece.

The shares worth $9 million bring Khosrowshahi total holdings in the ride-sharing giant of almost 1.18 million shares.

Uber shares have shed 14.5% year to date and are about 30% below the February high. The shares have fallen by at least 7% in two weeks since it released its earnings.

UBER: NYSE is up +5.30%.
