(CryptoPotato) Social media giant Twitter is establishing a team that will focus on developing solutions for cryptocurrencies, and other decentralized technologies.
The team will be led by Engineer Tess Rinearson, who previously served in the development of Tendermint Core and Chain.com, the Interchain Foundation, and Cosmos.
Rinearson on her Twitter account shared that the team will look into cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and other decentralized technologies and study possible solutions possible outside the financial domain.
Dubbed as “Twitter Crypto,” the team will be involved in everything related to Web 3.0. Rinearson said she plans to work on support for Dapps and other identity-oriented solutions.
Twitter has yet to post job openings for the venture, but Rinearson said she is open to receiving messages from those interested.
