TotalEnergies and China Three Gorges to Form a JV in China’s Electric Mobility

(TotalEnergies) France’s TotalEnergies and China Three Gorges Corporation have signed an agreement for the establishment of a joint venture in China electric mobility. 

China Three Gorges’ affiliates CTG Capital and CTG Electric Energy in partnership with Total will install over 11,000 power-charging points in China.  

The co-branded power charging hubs will be equipped with 60 kW and 120kW charging points hosting 20 -50 vehicles each.  

TotalEnergies is pushing its electric mobility agenda in major world cities with the installation of electric vehicle charging points.

China Three Gorges said that the initiative is supported by the Chinese goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
