Tesla Starts Accepting DOGE for Eligible Products at its Stores

(Tesla) Tesla has said it will accept Dogecoin payments for certain products at its stores, saying they are not allowing any other crypto.

The company says shoppers can purchase the eligible products by sending DOGE to Tesla’s Dogecoin wallet.

The EV maker says items bought using the crypto token cannot be returned, canceled, or exchanged. It warns that non-Dogecoin crypto assets sent to Tesla will not be reimbursed to the user.

The news comes a month after Tesla said it will soon start allowing DOGE payments for merch. CEO Elon Musk, who has been a supporter of Dogecoin, had earlier said the crypto token is better suited for transactions since it is less inflationary.

DOGE/USD is up +14.05%.
