(CoinTelegraph) About 98% of traditional hedge fund executives plan to invest 7.2% of their assets in digital currencies by 2026.
The survey by Intertrust Global involved 100 hedge funds from across the globe.
With 7.2% asset allocations into cryptocurrencies, hedge funds will have invested about $312 billion in the digital currencies.
Another 17% of executives expect their hedge funds to have allocated 10% of their assets into cryptocurrencies.
The poll results provide a boost to the crypto markets which have faced a plunge recently amid overvaluation concerns and risks to the financial system.
Some investors see bitcoin as a portfolio diversifier and a store of value in an inflationary environment.
