(Twitter) The hip hop mogul Calvin Broadus Jr., dubbed Snoop Dogg, is launching a new NFT collection on Cardano network after collaborating with Clay Nation.
The NFT collection is expected to feature “iconic” collectives, limited edition of Clay Nation plots, and unreleased music.
The entry of Snoop Dogg’s NFT on Cardano highlights the gaining prominence of the blockchain, with the artist initially preferring the Ethereum network.
The launch comes amid several weeks of sluggish NFT activity following a meteoric growth last year, as investors tread with caution following the Russian-Ukrainian war. A potential regulatory crackdown on the sector has also weighed on activity in the sector.
Cardano network has, however, witnessed at least 4.2 million native tokens deployment across 1,49 minting policies.
