Sirius EA Review

Sirius EA Review

Sirius EA is a product of Celestial Trading Tools that comes with many promises yet fails to deliver on any. The expert advisor works on different currency pairs and comes for 15 Euros pcm.

Sirius EA Trading Strategy

The company will send you the ex4 file for installation on the MT platform. Place the file in the experts’ directory, attach it to the chart and enable auto trading to begin trading.

The developer fails to mention what type of strategy the robot uses. This raises a few concerns over the authenticity of the system. He also hides the trading history on tracking websites which could have been used to predict the strategy of the expert advisor. There are constant separations on the balance and equity curve, which shows that the robot uses either grid and martingale or both.

Sirius EA Trading Strategy

The average trade duration is 16h 51m which shows the robot employs a day trading approach.

Sirius EA Features

The robot has the following features as mentioned on the websites:

  • Trades 24 hours 5 days a week with full automation
  • Trade multiple currencies at once with an easy setup process
  • Has an automatic trailing stop loss and take profit
  • Builtin money and efficient risk management

The company makes all these claims and, at the same time, states that trades should be careful while trading as it can wipe out their account at any moment.

Sirius EA Backtesting results

The developer fails to provide any hyperlinks to the backtesting results. Lack of transparency shows that the EA might have failed during the test. This raises many concerns over the fact that the robot is authentic or not. Backtesting results allow us to see how the algorithm performs under various conditions of spread and slippage.

Sirius EA Live Trading Results

Live trading results are available on the Myfxbook platform that shows a terrible performance of the system. Also, the developer tries to hide many aspects of trading that he could. The information on deposit withdrawals, balance equity, exposure, open orders, etc., are hidden. Looking at the statistics, we can see that the account witnesses a complete 99.62% drawdown. The robot had a 60% win rate with a small profit factor of 0.77. The risk-reward ratio is pretty small for the designated win rate for the system to be profitable. The robot started trading from April 07, 2021, till May 19, 2021. It made 849 trades with an average win of 8.74 and a loss of 6.36 pips. The risk of ruin is exceptionally high, with only nine trades required to reach a 99.99% drawdown.

Sirius EA Live Trading Results

The system has a daily gain of -2.5% and a negative monthly gain of -57.20%. This is quite obvious for experts that use risky strategies and proves our logic of unavailability of efficient backtest results. The developer knows that his system fails in terms of profitability and therefore hides all the statistics.

Sirius EA Reputation

Customer reviews are available on TrustPilot, which shows that Sirius EA is a scam product. Customers state the Celestial Trading Tools is a usual scam company ripping off every other trader by selling the get rich quick scheme. For a total of 141 reviews, they have a rating of 2.2

There is also a general discussion of FPA where people are reporting problems and are starting to open the case in the scam alert section.

Conclusion

Sirius robot is an inefficient trading system that uses risky trading strategies and takes accounts into margin calls. It should not be trusted. The developer hides all the statistics, which raises enough red flags for us.
