Sidus Space Soars 65% After Disclosing NASA Services Contract

(Sidus Space) Shares of Sidus Space Inc. rose more than 65% on Thursday on the news it was part of the Collins Aerospace team that was awarded a services contract by NASA.

Dubbed the NASA’s Exploration Extravehicular Activity or xEVAS, the contract carries a potential value of $3.5 billion through 2034. The contract carries a 10-year base contract and an optional two years.

The xEVAS program includes the design, development, hardware processing, production, and sustainment of an integrated Extravehicular Activity. 

The service will be provided for the NASA International Space Station, Commercial Space missions, and the Artemis Program.

Sidus CEO Carol Craig said that the company is pleased to participate in the Collins Aerospace and be a major subcontractor in NASA’s xEVAS contract.
