(ShibaSwap) Shiba Inu developers have announced 100,595 land plots that will be offered in its Metaverse and priced in Ethereum’s native token Ether.
The developers say that the land plots will be released in phases, with the introductory phase unlocking 36,431 plots. The plots will be divided into the categories of Silver Fur, Platinum Paw, Gold Tail, and Diamond Teeth.
Shiba Inu says the plots will be priced at between 0.2 Ether or up to 1 ETH, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum ecosystem.
The developers say they settled for a neutral cryptocurrency, citing the potential downside risks to Shiba native coins. Developers say they will need to dampen the native tokens price to cash on them, which presents risks.
The Shiba Inu land buyers will have a chance to earn passive income, gather in-game resources, and generate rewards that will be revealed soon.
Landowners on Shiba’s Metaverse will be able to rename their plot while burning and using the SHIB token.
Shiba developers said that other ecosystem coins like BONE and LEASH will play a role as more phases are rolled out.
Shiba Inu’s Metaverse will be developed in Shibarium, which dubs as a layer-2 solution for the SHIB.
