At the Samsung Foundry Forum 2022, Samsung Electronics has announced their plans to shift to a 1.4nm process technology by 2022.
This will allow for smaller, more efficient chips that use less power and provide greater performance. In addition to this new process technology, Samsung also plans to invest $22 billion in their foundry business over the next three years in order to meet increasing demand for semiconductors.
This is great news for both consumers and businesses as it will result in better products being available at lower prices.
With this investment, Samsung is cementing its position as a leading provider of semiconductor solutions.
