Pinterest Reports Users’ Fall as Q1 2022 Revenue Jumps 18%, Loss Narrows

(Pinterest) Pinterest reported 433 million Monthly Active Users in the first quarter of 2022, down 9% from the prior year.

The social media company reported quarterly revenue of $575 million, an increase of 18% from the previous year.

Pinterest posted a net loss of $5.28 million in the first quarter, narrower than a loss of $21.67 million in the prior year. The Adjusted EBITDA went lower to $76.8 million compared to $83.8 million in the prior year. 

Pinterest is now projecting that its revenue in the second quarter would grow by 11% from the previous year.
