(PayPal) American financial giant PayPal Holdings Inc. has rolled out a new mobile application that integrates crypto, savings, and deposits under one platform.
The new PayPal application is touted as an “all-in-one” personalized application, which includes high-yield savings accounts and in-application shopping tolls where users can earn rewards for credit.
It also allows users to buy, hold, and sell crypto and for them to support causes and charities they desire. It also offers to buy now, pay later services, and QR code purchases.
The application also has a personalized dashboard, with a wallet tab that would oversee the payment instruments and a direct deposit tab that covers high-yield savings and crypto capabilities, as well as a payments hub.
Additional features of the application are expected to be launched in the coming quarters, such as more ways to invest and more payment options both online and in-store, as well as offline QR code payments.
PayPal is banking on the expected growth of global digital wallet consumers, which it expects to double to 4.4 billion by 2025.
