(SEMI) North America headquartered Semiconductor equipment manufacturers posted a three-month average of $3.59 billion billings globally in May.
The figure is 4.7% more than April’s $3.43 billion this year, and 53.1% more than May’s $2.34 billion in a previous year.
SEMI President and C.E.O. Ajit Manocha, expressed pride in the manufacturer’s trend of exceptional growth.
Semiconductor equipment investments have continued to grow as the industry tackles near-term manufacturing capability challenges.
