North American Semiconductor Billings Drop 5.4% in August

(SEMI) North American semiconductor equipment manufacturers recorded an average of $3.65 billion in worldwide billings in the three months to August 2021.

The billings were 5.4% below the July’s final figure of $3.86 billion, but 37.6% above the August 2020 billings.

Despite the fall, Semi CEO Ajit Manocha says the billings still reflect robust demand.
