(Nio) Shares of electric maker NIO rose more than 6% on Friday after reporting total deliveries of 9,985 in March, up 37.6% from the prior year.
The March deliveries consisted of 1,726 ES8s, 5,064 ES6s, and 3,032 EC6s, and 163 ET7s. The company said that the deliveries of the newly debuted ET7 started on March 28.
The EV maker said that, in the first quarter, deliveries were 25,768, a quarterly record, up 28.5% from the prior year.
Nio’s cumulative deliveries reached 192,838 as of March 31, 2022.
The company said that it plans to unveil NIO ES8, ES6, and EC6, which will carry the latest digital cockpit hardware in late May this year. The EV maker will also launch a digital cockpit upgrade plan for existing users, while NIO ES7, which carries NIO Technology 2.0, will also debut.
