Netflix’s Rivals Pull Closer in Loyalty to Service as Disney+ Leads in New Survey

Hub data shows 77% of U.S consumers, who added streaming services during COVID-19 pandemic, will keep Disney Plus and only 7% will drop it, reports Seeking Alpha. That compares with 73% “definitely keep” and only 4% who would drop Netflix. 

The loyalty score means that Disney Plus, which has been around for 16 months, with a strong subscriber trajectory, rivals Netflix in customer loyalty.

66% will definitely keep Discovery Plus, and 14% will “definitely drop” it

63% will definitely keep HBO Max and 17% will definitely drop” it.

The gains in subscriber loyalty comes amid a drop in traditional pay TV, whether cable, satellite, or Telco.Disney and Netflix stocks are currently gaining. DIS: NYSE is up 0.86% on premarket, NFLX: NASDAQ is up 0.13% on premarket.
