(Bloomberg) Netflix projects that its highly successful show ‘Squid Game’ will generate about $900 million in value. More than 130 million have reportedly watched the show.
The Korean blockbuster show has generated $891.1 million in impact value. The production cost in the first season was $21.4 million or $2.4 million per episode.
Netflix’s viewership metric shows that 87 million people completed the series in 23 days, and 89% of those who started watched more than one episode.
The company estimates that viewers had spent over 1.4 billion hours watching ‘Squid Game.’
