(Bloomberg) Neuralink, a brain implant startup of Elon Musk, is seeking to fill the role of a clinical trial director in the latest hint that it is nearing its promised human trials.
The clinical trial director is expected to oversee the human trials of Neuralink’s medical device that is expected to treat neurological disorders.
The Fremont, California-based job position says the candidate will work with top engineers and doctors and the participants of Neuralink’s clinical trials. The job also includes clinical research activities.
Musk has, in the past, revealed the success of the novel invention after he said he allows monkeys to play video games, after the implant, using their thoughts.
The job advert comes after, last month, Musk said he expected to implant the Neuralink device into humans in 2022. Neuralink will also seek to fill other positions, including a clinical trial coordinator.
