Moderna Expands Supply of Covid-19 Vaccine to Canada in New Agreement

(Moderna) Moderna Inc. has agreed with the Government of Canada to supply as much as 105 million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine, upon approval, and its booster vaccine candidate 

The agreement will allow Moderna to provide 20 million doses each year in 2022 and 2023 and an optional 15 million doses each year.

The biotech company has the option to deliver, if authorized, up to 35 million vaccine doses in 2024.

Moderna is optimistic that the deal with the Government of Canada will enhance protection to its citizens from the ongoing pandemic.
