MicroStrategy Will Work With Fidelity to Avail BTC 401(k) Service to Employees

(Twitter) MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor says he will enable his employees to access Bitcoin options via 401(k) accounts in partnership with Fidelity.

Saylor said that the company looks forward to working with Fidelity for the new service.

The announcement comes the same day that Fidelity said it will give companies an opportunity for Bitcoin holding through the retirement plan.

The latest move is a further call for the legitimization of Bitcoin despite its wild price changes and regulatory rhetoric across the globe.

Fidelity ranks as one of the world’s largest 401(k) providers and partners with around 23,000 corporations, making the development important for enabling Bitcoin to go mainstream.

The partnership of Fidelity and MicroStrategy is a plus as the latter holds massive BTCs of around 129,218 valued at $5.1 billion.
