(Bitcoinik) Mexican retailing and banking corporation Grupo Elektra seeks faster and less costly Bitcoin payments by implementing a Bitcoin lightning network.
Grupo’s owner, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, says he sees potential in Bitcoin. Pliego said he would invest 10% of his portfolio in Bitcoin in November.
Pliego is the third richest person in Mexico, with a net worth of $15.4 million.
